After defeating the Vas Phein, Grand Gnome's barrier will disappear, which is your cue to destroy its core. There are two graphics modes, one for performance which locks the game at 60 FPS and one for resolution which runs at 4K. The Grand Gnome will also attack occasionally during the first two waves. Any word on the differences between the PS4 and PS5 versions The PS5 version will support Dualsense features and loading times will be shorter. The first wave sends in the same types of enemies that you've encountered so far in the temple while the second is a Vas Phein. Instead, you'll fight two waves of enemies first. You can't attack the boss directly at the start. First move the boss does is cast a spell so your HP cant go below 1. Reminds me of the final boss from Xenosaga 2, which was also a 1v1. The first is basically fighting a stereotypical monster, the second is just a sephiroth. Grand Gnome BossĪt the central area, you'll face the Grand Gnome. The final dungeon can be used to torture captives to get them to divulge information. Bring lots of recovery items before going in as you can't go back to the surface once inside and the only healing circle in the dungeon is right before the boss. Bring lots of gels and other recovery itemsĮach room in the temple that is not a warp point room contains high-leveled enemies. You'll unlock this sub-quest the same time as The Wedge but since the enemies inside the temple are at least level 60, we recommend doing it after completing the main story. These Artifacts are obtained from the Special Owls 33 to 38, instead of Outfit pieces that are granted by the first. The warp point locations are fixed but it's easy to get lost since you can't open the map until you reach the central area. You can carry over almost everythingsuch as Skill Panel progress, party level, Arte proficiency, and morefrom your original data to new game plus but you need to obtain specific Artifacts in the base game for each of them. To reach the heart of the temple, you'll need to find the other warp point on each floor to take you to the next.
